DiVilytics tutorial

How to record a game around the table, link it to every player's profile, and find your stats afterwards. It takes a couple of minutes per game, most of it while you're already playing.

Before you start

1
Open it on your phone DiVilytics is made to be used at the table: it works in any phone browser, nothing to install. For quicker access, tap 📲 Install on the home page to add it to your home screen: it then opens full screen, like an app.
2
Sign in Use Discord or Google, then pick a nickname. It must be unique: it's the name other players see, on the leaderboard too. You can browse everything without an account, but you need one to record or claim a game.
3
Pick an avatar Open your Account page (your avatar, top right). Choose one of the Images, or design your own on Build: body, face, eyes, hair and more over a background color. Random shuffles one for you, Apply saves it.
4
Mark your boxes Also on the Account page, tick the expansion boxes you own. Then the My boxes filter can limit random draws to villains you actually have.

Record a game

1
Open New Game Tap ⚔️ in the top bar. Date and time are set to now: change them if you're recording a game played earlier. Location is optional, and places already used are suggested as you type. Open New Game
2
Pick the villains Set the number of players, then choose each villain from its menu, or tap 🎲 on a row to draw one at random (Draw villains fills every empty row, or redraws them all when every row is filled).

Open Draw pool to set which villains can be drawn, for example only the ones you have at hand right now with My boxes, or villains that play at a similar Pace.
3
Set the play order Row 1 goes first. Tap Random order to randomize it, or drag a row by its ⠿ handle. Remove a row with ❌.
4
Mark your villain Tap 👤 on the villain you're playing. The game can't start until you do.
5
Play Tap Start game and the timer runs. A round ends when every player has had their turn: tap + when the first player is up again.

A game in progress stays saved when you change page. The ⚔️ icon in the top bar shows the game's status with a red dot while it's running or a gold one while it's paused. Back on New Game, a paused game continues with Resume game. Changed your mind? Discard game throws it away.

No timer, or a game played earlier? Type the duration and rounds yourself and go straight to step 7.
6
Control it from the lock screen The timer keeps running with the screen locked, and the lock screen's media controls drive the game: Play and Pause start and pause the timer, Next and Previous add or remove a round. No need to unlock the phone every round.

Even handier: a Bluetooth media remote (one with play/pause and next/previous track buttons) on the table lets anyone add a round without touching the phone.
7
Declare the winner and save When someone wins, tap their villain's mover: the game stops, with 👑 on the winner and the duration filled in (the rounds too, if you used the counter). Then tap Save game.
8
Show the QR code After saving, the game's page opens with a QR code on top. Pass the phone around so the other players can scan it and claim their villain. Need it again later? On your Player page, tap Open on the game, then Share QR.

Claim your villain

1
Scan and claim Scanning the QR opens the game's claim page. Sign in, then tap Claim next to the villain you played. The game now shows up in your profile and stats.
2
Fix mistakes Claimed the wrong villain? Tap Release and claim the right one. Players of the game can also use Edit details to fix the location, duration or rounds, and Share QR to show the code again. Whoever recorded the game can use Edit villains and winner until another player claims a villain, and Delete game to remove it.
